Why Helios exists

I got tired of watching small businesses get trapped by platforms that promise everything and deliver less every year.

Founder of Helios AI Services

The problem that started this

I've spent years working with marketing tech and digital tools. I've seen companies pay more and more for platforms that get worse and worse. Features disappear. Prices climb. Support vanishes. And switching becomes nearly impossible because your data is trapped.

This isn't an accident. It's the business model. Get users locked in, then squeeze. Small businesses suffer the most because they don't have the resources to fight back or build alternatives.

I started Helios because I believe there's a better way. You should own your tools. You should understand how they work. And you shouldn't need to depend on me (or anyone) forever.

What I believe

Independence over dependency

The goal isn't to create another subscription you can't escape. It's to help you build tools you own and understand. If I do my job right, you won't need me forever. That's the point.

Education over sales

I'm not here to sell you something you don't need. I'll figure out what actually helps your business, build (or teach you to build) it, and make sure you understand how to use and maintain it.

Honesty over hype

I can't solve every problem. AI isn't magic. Some things take time. Some things won't work for your business. I'll tell you that upfront. No false promises, no inflated expectations.

Success over profit

I measure success by whether you become more autonomous, not by how much recurring revenue I can extract. Your long-term independence matters more than my short-term gain.

Beyond the business

I'm based in Phoenix, Arizona. Married 10 years, two kids, two dogs. I'm a basketball fan and a bit of a video game nerd.

I mention this because I want you to know there's a real person behind this business, not a faceless corporation. When you work with Helios, you're working with me. I'll answer your questions. I'll be honest about what I can and can't do. And I'll genuinely care about whether this helps your business.

I've worked in marketing operations and digital experience for years, building tools and optimizing workflows for companies of all sizes. But Helios is different. It's about using that experience to help small businesses escape the subscription trap and build something they actually own.

Life in Phoenix

Who I work with (and who I don't)

Good Fit

  • • Small businesses tired of rising SaaS costs
  • • Teams willing to learn and stay involved
  • • Businesses wanting long-term ownership
  • • Companies ready for realistic timelines
  • • People who value honesty over hype

Not a Fit

  • • Looking for instant, magical solutions
  • • Want someone to just "handle it all"
  • • Need enterprise-scale deployments
  • • Expect guaranteed revenue increases
  • • Don't want to invest time learning

If you're in the "Not a Fit" column, that's okay. I'd rather be honest now than waste your time or mine.
